When it comes to dining chairs, these can make your dining room!

There are so many options out there, whether you are into Colors, Romantic French, Contemporary Modern, Simplistic or Eclectic and everything in between.

Some Scandinavian replica pieces, which combines simple lines,
with modern style.

Based in Danish designer Børge Morgensens design,
they retail for 295$ on clickonfurniture.com.au

Another great Scandinavian inspired chair is the Chester Side Chair, also from clickonfurniture.com.au, they retail at 249$

And of course my personal favorite in Scandinavian classic chairs, the wishbone chair, created by Hans Wegner.
The original design chair retails from around 700$. However, you can get good replica´s which retails from 295$, but are often on sale. The ones on the picture is from Matt Blatt.

The come in many different colors, from natural wood as Ash & Oak, over to color coated in white, black, yellow & Green etc.

If you have children, you might want chairs which are easy to clean but still looks great!

Here are some great choices for child friendly chairs.

Another nice choice is to go with steel, which has this modern NYU loft feeling to it.

Adding steel with wood and earth colors creates a great sense of warmth to a room, and an edgy feel.

Below is Harry Bertoia replica chair from Matt Blatt, retailing from 130$ AUD for the white, and 350$ AUD for the black.

These Phillip Stark chairs, are a great choice for a modern simplistic chair, that combines the easiness of plastic with great looking design.

I would recommend keeping to black or white though, since the color ones, in my opinion, losses a lot of their sophisticated touch.

Cool steel charm...

Another great steel chair is Napier dining chair from Domayne. This retails at 319$ AUD.

French Romance....

If you are more into the French inspired style, which also goes great for that sea front beach look. MaisonLiving has some great pieces.

My own favorite is this very simple and classic country french style chair Bentwood, from Maisonliving.
Its romantic and delicate, yet not to showy, which makes it a great companion for a big wooden dining table, with large candles for that romantic mood. Retails at 159$ AUD.

POP of color!!

This Breda chair is a beautiful colorful addition to any dining room.

The transparent orange lacquered material makes for a perfect colorful choice to brigthen up a darker color scheme in a dining room / open kitchen.

It would work wonders with dark grey on the walls and black glossy subway tiles in the kitchen. Creating that color pop, I love it!

Retails for 319$ AUD at BoConcept.

I have to admit for a time now, I have loved the products coming from Kartell. They are funky and different.
Even though a lot of them take their inspiration from 1970´s flower child period, they work great as a touch of funky fresh in the clean white lines which are fashionable today.

The chair above is a Phillip Stark design for Kartell, the ghost chair, comes in different colors and retails for 99$ AUD at Matt Blatt, as a replica.

Conclusion....

For a more modern take on French boudoir style, this Markson Dining chair from Coco Republic, falls right in to that classic, yet modern lounge feeling.

Would be amazing combines with a straight lined dining table to create a contrast.

For more antiques and french inspired chairs as spindle back chairs - check out Lawson´s auction.

The last color chair I would mention is Xavier Pauchard replica chair in blue.

The blue color is lovely and will combine great with almost all color palettes, maybe except red. And its funky!

Retails at 101$ AUD from Matt Blatt.

That was a little of my favorite dining chairs... I know some of you might wonder why the Eames chair is not included? This is simply because its becoming so popular, that everyone has it, and for me that makes it loss its appeal a little....
